Where our worth comes from
Yahweh gave us each unique abilities for what He called us to do, but it is the fact that He made us that makes us special and have worth.
When I draw or paint a picture, it has worth to me because I created it. It doesn’t have to do anything to be special, it just is. Now, it’s nice that the picture sits there and looks pretty, but it doesn’t need to do anything else by itself but to just be in order to have value.
The same is true of Yahweh, our Heavenly Father, with us. We were created by Him, therefore we have value and are special. He has given us gifts and abilities to use for His glory, but we don’t need to do anything (i.e “prove ourselves”) in order to have worth in His eyes.
