Many people have different ideas of what “love” is, but what does Yahweh, our Heavenly Father, say?

The video below has the best explanation I have every heard from Scripture, using helpful analogies and stories. It is well worth watching all the way through many times.

The working definition of love, put into words in the video is:

Doing what is spiritually best for others, regardless of what it costs you, whether they deserve it or not.

It’s beautiful, isn’t it?

That is certainly something the world needs to hear.

It’s an unselfish, giving, long-suffering kind of love. We need that kind of love. As believers, we know it certainly doesn’t come from us, though, but from Yahweh. Only through Yahushua the Messiah can we love unconditionally like that.
