Show up everyday and do your part

There are so many things that are out of our control in life when we set out to do anything. Most things don’t happen the way we expect.

And yet, I see a reoccurring theme lately that putting in the effort to “prepare your field” for the rain by consistently showing up every day and doing your part is so important.

Not making excuses, not basing it on whether you feel like doing it, not letting past or current failures hold you back, and certainly not getting frustrated by all the things you cannot possibly control.

Essentially, you show up every day and do your part—the part you can control. Do what is there for you to do to the best of your abilities with the time and resources you have, and leave the rest to Yahweh our Heavenly Father.
