Politically correct?
I’d rather be correct than “politically correct.” Wouldn’t you?
If what is correct (true and right) happens to align with what is currently considered “politically correct”, then great. If not, shouldn’t we stick to what is correct?
It is dangerous to let the swaying opinions of others determine what is correct. What is considered “politically correct” varies with time, between place and people, and a hundred other things. It cannot be trusted as a test for truth.
What is correct is what is true and right. And Yahweh, our Heavenly Father’s unchanging ways found in the Scriptures are true and right. They don’t change and they can be trusted.
Why would we build our house (basis of what is correct) on the sinking, shifting sand of the opinions of men (that which is “politically correct”)?
Why not build our lives on the rock; the unshakable, firm foundation of the Messiah?
