He cares

Something I’ve thought about is the fact that the main thing that separates the Elohim (God) of Christianity from the mighty ones (gods) of other religions is that Yahweh, our Heavenly Father, cares.

For instance, the ancient Greeks could believe in a god that was good, but never in a god that cared.

Yahweh didn’t just create us and leave us to fend for ourselves. He cares about us, and even further, He has redeemed us from our mess, our sins, through His Son, Yahushua the Messiah.

Many people don’t like the idea of Yahweh giving commandments as to how we should live, but isn’t that exactly what an Elohim (God) that cared about us would do? When you care about someone, you want what is best for them. That is why He tells us how to live; so we can live our lives as He created us to live, with love, joy, peace, and all the other fruits of the spirit.

He cares about us so much that He even wants us to cast our cares upon Him.

Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.

(1 Peter 5:7)

Indeed, He cares.
