We're judged by our worst
I’ve observed that in pretty much every area, we’re judged by our worst, not our best. It seems that there is something about the “weakest link in the chain” that says something about who we are or where we’re at.
For instance, in a portfolio, you’re often judged based on your weakest work (which is why you have to be careful to include the peak of your work).
In daily life, it is not the good days that define your character, but the ones where everything is falling apart.
Most anyone can act the part on a good day, but what about when things are out of control? If you are spirialing out of control along with the situation, then it does say something (perhaps negative) about you. If you’re giving your burdens to the Messiah and press on with hope despite your world crumbling, that also says something about you.
