Humility is a difficult thing to obtain and keep, while pride is a difficult thing to keep in check.

It sounds ridiculous, but you can even be prideful about being humble…

How easily pride creeps up everywhere, whether it’s after doing a genuinely unselfish act or even when trying to share the gospel with someone.

We certainly don’t have a lot to gloat about as individuals who are only anything by the mercy of Yahweh. Our only boasting should be in Yahweh, not ourselves.

Humility is perhaps the thing we need most.
