We won't agree on everything (and that's okay)
We won’t agree on everything and that’s okay. It’s okay to respectfully disagree.
Each person has different experiences, a different upbringing, different fears, weaknesses, and strengths, and even just a different way of thinking.
Now, that doesn’t mean I’d ever advocate for complete tolerance of anything (especially blatant sin and ideas that are contrary to clear Biblical teaching). Nor would I ever say that one should never have convictions. After all it’s quite true that:
He who accepts everything believes in nothing.
GK Chesterton
However, when it comes to understandings about things, someone may be at a different point on their walk with the Messiah than you. It is appropriate to have humility and understanding regarding other understandings without compromising on your own convictions.
