Please have convictions and opinions. Don’t idolize tolerance. Form your convictions and opinions about things. If you don’t know enough about something, that’s a different story (just say you don’t know enough to have an opinion).

Yes, one should always be willing to listen to others and change when we see the truth, but don’t mistake tolerance for being open to correction.

People can (and should) respect a conviction. People can respect an opinion even. But to go along with everything anyone else says like a chameleon is simply dishonest to yourself and them.
